The Space
The bones of this Fitzroy co-working studio date to the 1880s. Thick brick walls, original timber floors, and vast west-facing industrial windows that pour in filtered, even light all day — and fill the space with warm golden afternoon sun. The private studios are enclosed in frosted glass, keeping things quiet without losing the light. Step away from your desk into a separate kitchen and lounge — espresso machine, tea station, a big dining table, and two sofas for when you need to think sideways. Everything else — the fit-out, the people, the work — is very much alive.

Two ways to co-work at Millhaus. Boutique by design — just 11 desks and 4 private studios. Both month-to-month, no lock-in, no fine print — just a great building and people who care about their work.

No hard sell, no pressure. Come in, walk the floor, sit at a desk, make a coffee. We'd rather you fall in love with the building than be talked into it. We're easy to get to from anywhere in Melbourne. Tours take about 20 minutes and can be booked any time that suits you.

Millhaus boutique co-working studio sits in the heart of iconic Fitzroy — one of Melbourne's most creative and culturally rich neighbourhoods. Smith Street and Brunswick Street are on your doorstep, with their independent boutiques, cafés, restaurants and bars. The legendary Gertrude Street is a ten minute walk away.
We're inside a gated carpark on Argyle Street — follow the signage through to the building entrance and head up the stairs. You'll find us from there.
